Jon is 40 years old and profoundly affected by Down Syndrome. He can’t talk, has an IQ of 20 and earns less than thirteen dollars a year. Although it may appear that he will not accomplish much by conventional standards of measure, his greater purpose is to teach others how to love. This documentary, The Teachings of Jon, was created by his sister and celebrates Jon as he IS rather than focusing on changing Jon to fit into the world around him.

Explore the strength and courage of Inupiat people struggling to preserve their subsistence whaling culture in the Arctic regions of Alaska. Challenged by hostile weather, intricate international politics, the potential opening of ANWR and off-shore oil exploration, Inupiat whalers remain as resolute as their icebound ocean.
The Eskimo and the Whale captures the abstract arctic light and uses it to illuminate a beautiful corner of our world.

(And How it Changed America.....)
In 1962, Richard Nixon's once meteoric political career lay in ruins. The former vice-president had suffered two bitter losses; one in the 1960 presidential race against John F. Kennedy, the other in a bid for the governorship of his home state of California. Yet, only six years later, Nixon would be elected President of the United States. How did it happen? Why did it happen?
That is the historical riddle that Nixon's the One: The '68 Election (And How It Changed America) examines. Combining elements of biography with an exploration of the larger cultural, political, and historical landscape of the Sixties, the film argues that Nixon, far from being an improbable president, was the figure who most expertly exploited the tensions of the era, harnessing them for his own ends.
