With technology and transportation bringing the world ever closer, Alaska's geographical position in the Pacific Rim makes news, policy and the environment of Asia important to Alaskans. This series takes the viewer on a journey of culture and science to discover how a region that includes over half of the world's population recognizes and responds to some of the most profound environmental challenges of the day.

This six-part series begins on 360 North this Friday, August 15 at 9:30 pm and will continue into the fall on Friday nights.
